Our ROOTS
Our origins lie in a market at Broadbeach, a popular beach on Australia's Gold Coast. People gathered around our small bodywork stall, meeting each other and finding healing. These daily experiences formed the foundation for what would later become organic aum.
THE BEGINNING
Then, in 2018, organic aum was born in Beachmont, Queensland, Australia. While cherishing an aesthetic sense that resonates with wabi-sabi, the spirit of Zen, and the tranquility of Japan,
"Returning to one's true self"
"Everything is one."
We have nurtured time and space for people to discover these things. In a space equipped with an open-air bath and sauna, which were still rare in Australia at the time, we have progressed as a day spa combining bodywork, healing, and Yoni steam. While I myself have been involved in treatments as a therapist, together with experienced therapists who share the same aspirations, we have accumulated countless enriching moments, supported by the deep trust of many clients.
Aum is a coined word that combines "Aun," a symbol of beginning and end, and the harmony of breath and the universe, with the sacred "Om," and embodies the meaning of "returning to one's true self."
RECOGNITION
Our efforts were recognized, and in 2023 we were selected as one of the top 8 spas on the Gold Coast, giving us the opportunity to stand alongside renowned spas. However, what we have always valued is not recognition or titles. It is creating time and space for people to return to their true selves. That philosophy remains at the heart of organic aum.

A NEW CHAPTER
Then, in 2025, the wisdom of natural therapies and alternative therapies cultivated in Australia met the tranquil healing power of the land of Akiu in Sendai, and organic aum moved on to a new stage.
Akiu, a hot spring resort town, is steeped in rich nature and a long and rich history. Although it is close to the heart of Sendai, there is a tranquility here where the flow of time seems to gently unfold. The light of the four seasons, the wind, the murmur of the river, the rustling of the trees.
The natural rhythms of this land gently soothe the breath and mind of those who visit.
THE LAND
The site is embedded with crystals such as quartz, which symbolizes purification and harmony; rose quartz, which symbolizes love and gentleness; and amethyst, which brings tranquility and spirituality.
We create spaces that resonate with light, wind, the scents of the seasons, and the energy of the land.
Furthermore, in this location, we value coexisting with nature, and our electricity is supplied off-grid using solar power and battery storage.
Even in ways that are not visible to the eye, we choose ways of living that are in harmony with the natural cycle.
THE DOME
The round, white dome has a soft, rounded design with no sharp edges. The resonance of sound and the sense of security it evokes are like returning to the womb. Sounds and voices spread gently, and light quietly fills the space. In this enveloping space, breathing and heartbeats naturally settle, and you regain your natural rhythm. In this deeply protective environment, sessions, retreats, and practices deepen slowly.

Founder
As a child, I was frail and relied on traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. A major turning point for me came in high school when I encountered a book on breathing techniques. I learned that the mind and body are deeply connected, and it became the starting point for me to focus on my "inner world." In my twenties, I had many experiences of finding solace in the spiritual world, and when I became pregnant at the age of 30, I incorporated natural therapies and re-evaluated my entire way of life. Furthermore, through raising my child, I was exposed to diverse forms of learning, including Steiner education, and my understanding of the importance of "living in harmony" in everyday life deepened.
My own experience of being frail led me to realize the importance of "healing oneself" and "balancing mind, body, and lifestyle," which has become the foundation of my work as a therapist today.
Following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, I moved abroad. In New Zealand, I met a respected healing mentor and deepened my learning of self-healing. Later, I moved to Australia and obtained a national qualification, the Diploma of Remedial Massage. From there, my practice as a therapist truly began, and while treating over 10,000 people, I have been exploring care that is attentive to the mind, body, and way of life itself. Even now, I continue to cherish my own practice and exploration, and I am also engaged in activities to share my learning.
